Personality

Tang San is intensely loyal to those he recognizes as family or benefactors. He publicly defended Yu Xiaogang when Yu Tiancheng challenged the latter's Soul Ring theory, and initially treated the duel as a matter of protecting his teacher's honor 64.

His defeat by Yu Tiancheng shook his confidence in Yu Xiaogang's teachings and pushed him toward a harsher pursuit of strength. Under Tang Hao's influence, he accepted survival training based on killing and brutality, beginning with the extermination of the Hurricane Wolf Bandit Group 72 73.

Xiao Wu remains his central motivation. His need to protect her drives his alliance with Hu Liena, acceptance of the Asura God's trial, and eventual godhood; however, this devotion increasingly becomes possessive and violent, causing Xiao Wu to question whether he is still the person she knew 113 117 123 126. After his defeat, he expresses regret and accepts Yu Tiancheng's punishment 130.
