After a long while, Bi Fan made his decision. "Qilin Yu, Qilin Hong, I can agree to your proposal, but..."
"I have two conditions. First, once the treasure vault is opened, I'll take two treasures before anyone else. I won't hand those two over, but we'll split the rest evenly. Second, if the enemy proves too strong, I can choose to withdraw."
Qilin Yu and Qilin Hong exchanged a glance, then nodded at the same time, accepting Bi Fan's conditions.
Without Bi Fan and his group, the treasures in the vault would have nothing to do with the Kirin Race.
Though Bi Fan wanted half the treasures, along with the first pick of two items, they had to rely on him. They had no other choice.
The Kirin Race wasn't the only one who knew about the treasure map. If other experts had been captured alive, they might have let the secret slip, too.
If that happened, the vault would surely be opened soon.
