Wu Yu smiled slightly. "Nice to meet you for the first time. I'm Nakamori Wu Yu."
Hanabi Hyuga froze for a moment. She had thought that Nakamori Wu Yu, who was even older than her sister, would be more "grown-up" and treat her like a child. She had not expected him to treat her as an equal. Though Wu Yu had merely said it casually, Hanabi felt at ease and smiled as well. "Father and Sister often mention you."
Karin was greatly surprised. Looking at the already thoroughly embarrassed Hinata Hyuga, she said, "Hinata, you often mention Wu Yu at home too?"
Hinata Hyuga waved her hands and hurriedly said, "No, I don't—I mean—actually—"

Sakura Haruno grinned and playfully slapped at Karin a few times. Shiho, standing nearby, found it hilarious.
After Karin joined Konoha, because she cared about Wu Yu, she had initially often gone to Shiho to get close to her. And because of Wu Yu's former connection with Team Seven, she also enjoyed spending time with Sakura. Over time, Shiho and Sakura, the two female ninja from different classes, developed quite a good relationship.
