Bo Yikao admitted to disgracing Consort De and accepted Di Xin’s punishment, while Ji Fa agreed to remain in Chaoge so the king could keep him as leverage against Xi Qi. After hearing what had happened, Ji Chang learned through divination that Bo Yikao would suffer torment even in death.

• Ji Fa urged Bo Yikao to deny the accusation, but Bo Yikao confessed and begged Di Xin to spare Ji Fa, San Jisheng, and Ji Chang.
• Di Xin ordered Shen Gongbao to execute Bo Yikao’s punishments and pardoned Ji Chang, but required Ji Fa to stay in Chaoge.
• Ji Fa agreed to Di Xin’s terms, and news of Bo Yikao’s fate and Ji Fa’s confinement spread through Chaoge, Xi Qi, and the lands of the eight hundred feudal lords.

• Xuan Ming told Bi Gan and Shen Gongbao that she had come at Empress Pingxin’s command to help Great Shang and would stop Old Ancestor Kunpeng if he acted unusually.

Di Xin faced Lu Ya and the Demon Race after the Jiuli Tribe rebelled, then called on Shang Tang to help restore the Human Race. Shang Tang emerged from the Human Sacred Land as Di Xin’s Human King destiny began to recover.

• Lu Ya declared that he had brought the Demon Race to support True Man Gu, and Di Xin and Nezha mocked him.
• Bi Gan urged Di Xin to summon Shang Tang, arguing that the Jiuli Tribe’s rebellion gave their ancestor a reason to intervene.
• Di Xin and the Chaoge troops knelt on the Zhuolu Plains and asked Shang Tang to defeat the demons and restore peace to the Human Race.

Shang Tang and Lu Ya fought in the Nine Heavens while Di Xin and True Man Gu led their armies into battle on the Zhuolu Plains. Nezha captured Empress Medusa and sent her to Dong Wanggong, while the war continued beneath a growing aura of Kalpa Tribulation.

• Shang Tang summoned four Nine Provinces Cauldrons and challenged Lu Ya, drawing him away from the battlefield to fight in the Nine Heavens.
• Bi Gan led Great Shang's forces against the Jiuli Tribe and its Yao allies, while Di Xin charged True Man Gu.

• Bai Ze and Old Ancestor Kunpeng battled in the Chaos Void while Eastern Emperor Taiyi and the Western Teachings considered the consequences of Bai Ze's actions.
• Bi Gan used the Wordless Heavenly Book to command Great Shang's forces, and Shen Gongbao slaughtered the Demon Race's army.
• Gu Zhenren unleashed Gu Devours the Cosmos, but Di Xin killed him with the Xuanyuan Sword and claimed the Yuzhou Ding, Liangzhou Ding, and Yongzhou Ding.

Di Xin wounded Lu Ya with the Immortal Slaying Flying Knife, and Bai Ze seized the chance to trap Lu Ya in his Buddha Kingdom and try to convert him. As Bai Ze declared Lu Ya destined to become a Buddha, Di Xin handed the flying knife to Shen Gongbao for his campaign against Zhou.

• Di Xin struck Lu Ya in the chest with the Immortal Slaying Flying Knife, which tore through him before returning to Di Xin's hand.
• Bai Ze used Buddha Kingdom in Palm and temporal power to seize Lu Ya before Old Ancestor Kunpeng could reach him.

Taiyi battled the sages in the Chaos Void until they summoned Primordial Heavenly Venerate, who arrived intent on defeating him and coveting the Witch-Slaying Sword.
