• Grand Master Xuandu and Daoist Duobao helped Zhu Bajie and Sha Heshang reach Quasi-Saint power, and the pilgrims defeated the demons of Shituoling while Sun Wukong killed the Void Divine Eagle.
• Tang Sanzang’s group exposed the crimes of the Bikshu Kingdom’s king and White Deer Spirit, then rescued Tang Sanzang from Lady Earth Swell and killed her.
• Tang Sanzang arranged for Nine Spirit Yuan Sage and Yellow Lion Spirit to serve under the Great Emperor Ziwei, while Taiyi Zhenren advanced to the Mid-stage Quasi-Saint realm.
• Sun Wukong and Tang Sanzang exposed Bihan, Bishu, and Bichen’s massacre and the Buddhas’ false claims about the Western Pure Land, prompting Tianzhu’s people to renounce Buddhism and embrace the Asura Path.
• Shiva and the other Demon Kings escorted the Tianzhu princess to Penglai Immortal Island and moved the kingdom to the Netherworld Sea of Blood, where its people were reborn into the Asura Path.
• At Lingyun Crossing, Tang Sanzang’s group attacked the old turtle sent by Manjushri Bodhisattva and struck Manjushri when he confronted them, though he escaped.
• Manjushri Bodhisattva and Bodhisattva Lingji waited at Lingyun Crossing as Tang Sanzang’s group approached, and Tang Sanzang began the battle by attacking the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas with his staff and Travel Document.

Tang Sanzang and his disciples completed the Journey to the West, while the Chaos Demon Gods and Dao Ancestor Hongjun shaped the Myriad Worlds and prepared for a coming tribulation. Dong Wanggong traveled there, gained new companions, and became involved in a confrontation between Li Bai and Buddhism.

• Sun Wukong absorbed the Chaos Demon Ape sources and reached the Hunyuan Grand Unity Golden Immortal realm as Tang Sanzang overturned Spirit Mountain and destroyed the unprotected Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
• Sun Wukong and Tang Sanzang’s companions defeated Manjushri Bodhisattva’s forces, but Demon Lord Chonglou intervened, prompting the Three Pure Ones to confront him and the surviving Buddhas.
• The Three Pure Ones and the Demon Sect agreed that Tang Sanzang and his disciples would complete their final tribulation at Mount Sumeru, where Demon Ancestor Luohu let them depart after they had overcome the Eighty-One Tribulations.
• Tang Sanzang and his disciples returned to Chang'an, reported their completed pilgrimage to the Heavenly Dao, and received Heavenly Dao Merit and Destiny.
• Dong Wanggong took Wu Zetian as his Dao Companion while Demon Ancestor Luohu began freeing Supreme Being Shanggu and joined Shichen’s plan to merge the Myriad Worlds with the Western lands.
• The Transcendent Immortal became the Myriad Worlds’ Heavenly Dao and absorbed the Western lands, while Dong Wanggong later entered the Myriad Worlds, awakened Xian Ling'er, and brought her and Immortal Spirit Island with him.
• Golden Cicada sent Fahai to force Bai Suzhen and Qing'er into Buddhism, but Li Bai killed Fahai, and Dong Wanggong arrived as Ancient Buddha Burning Lamp brought Golden Cicada to kneel before Zhuangzi.
• Bai Suzhen and Qing'er agreed to become Dong Wanggong’s Dao Companions, while the conflict with Buddhism continued.

Dong Wanggong thwarted Bai Ze’s ambush, then Shen Gongbao stirred dissent within the Demon Race and set Guanyin Buddha against Evil Desire Mad Wolf. The arc ended with Guanyin Buddha defending her master after Evil Desire Mad Wolf admitted to devouring her essence and magic power.

• Demon Buddha Zhunti took Golden Cicada’s soul to the Reincarnation Chaos Demon God, who sent undead into it and made him lord of the Hell Path.
• Yuan Di and the High Priest seized Paradise Island, but the Elf Queen and Lord of Angels drove them away, and Bai Ze later recruited Yuan Di to attack the Elf God Clan.
• Bai Ze broke Star Forest’s protective formation, but Dong Wanggong arrived and forced Demon Ancestor Luohu to kill Bai Ze, and Dong Wanggong then assigned Zhen Yuanzi to oversee the forest.
• At Golden Ao Island, Daoist Duobao forged the Rakshasa Divine Maces and reached Hunyuan Grand Unity Golden Immortal, and Dong Wanggong gave the maces to Mo Qilin.
• Shen Gongbao manipulated Evil Desire Mad Wolf into targeting Guanyin Buddha, then humiliated her in battle and concealed where she had fled.
• Evil Desire Mad Wolf found Guanyin Buddha unconscious and used a forbidden divine art on her, while Shen Gongbao disrupted the Heavenly Secrets to hide her location.
• The Transcendent Immortal defeated Demon Ancestor Luohu in their confrontation, and Shen Gongbao ended the concealment, revealing Guanyin Buddha’s location.
• Demon Ancestor Luohu and Demon Lord Chonglou found Guanyin Buddha kneeling before Evil Desire Mad Wolf, who boasted that he had devoured her essence and magic power, and Guanyin Buddha stepped in front of her master as Chonglou attacked.

Dong Wanggong maneuvered Demon Ancestor Luohu toward conflict over the World-Destroying Millstone while Shi Tian established the Immortal Sect and prepared to assert its power. Chonglou lost his Undying Demonic Heart, and the arc ended with the Immortal Sect’s founding ceremony about to begin as Dong Wanggong reunited Xun’er with Qingli and took Qingli as his Dao Companion.

• Guanyin Buddha rejected Demon Lord Chonglou and sided with Evil Desire Mad Wolf, while the Transcendent Immortal protected them and Chonglou collapsed after his Dao Heart cracked.
• Dong Wanggong arranged for Demon Ancestor Luohu to claim the World-Destroying Millstone, then Shichen and the Transcendent Immortal fought Skeleton God Monarch while Luohu refined the treasure and injured the Transcendent Immortal.
• Dong Wanggong traveled to Tianyan Continent, freed Xun’er’s sealed Extreme Cold Divine Flame, and began dual cultivation with her.
• Evil Desire Mad Wolf manipulated Guanyin Buddha into taking Chonglou’s Undying Demonic Heart, but Shen Gongbao recovered the heart and helped conceal that Mad Wolf had fathered Guanyin’s child.
• Zhen Yuanzi and the Transcendent Immortal made Shi Tian the Immortal Lord, and Shi Tian gathered the Immortal Spirit Clan, Elf God Clan, and Fire Spirit Clan to establish the Immortal Sect.
• Shi Tian swore to govern the Three Realms, received Great Dao merit, and later gained Heavenly Dao destiny and a defensive formation from the Transcendent Immortal.
