"What is that?"
The vampires looked up at the sky, their bloodthirsty pupils reflecting the ferocious face of Cloud Dragon.
"Dawn, can your Stand grow this big?"
Dio glanced over and couldn't help but ask. Setting aside its combat power, its sheer size was something even he couldn't confidently claim victory against.
"It's only been three days. Give me more time to let Cloud Dragon recover, and I'll absolutely blow your mind."
Dawn dodged a sneak attack from a vampire and used the momentum to kick it flying.
Diavolo, in his mind, broke out in a cold sweat and frantically messaged Dawn, telling him not to get cocky and to play it safe.
"Diavolo, it's precisely because you're reckless when you should be cautious, and cautious when you should be reckless, that your defeat was sealed."
Dawn relinquished a portion of control to Diavolo. Diavolo said nothing, merely activating his Stand and fully unleashing King Crimson.
King Crimson's fists blurred, splattering blood everywhere. It occasionally used its time erasure ability, wreaking havoc.
High in the sky, the churning giant dragon lowered its head. Dawn scrambled onto it, using his hands and feet, and gazed down at the brutal battlefield below.
"Dawn, you've finally understood my way of survival."
Diavolo breathed a sigh of relief, but Dawn looked confused and asked, "What are you talking about? I'm about to use my ultimate move."
With that, he controlled Cloud Dragon to release a massive amount of ice crystals, causing the dragon's recently recovered size to rapidly shrink again.
In moments, the entire plaza was filled with cold mist and ice crystals.
"Dio, stay put and don't move."
Dawn shouted. The cold air and ice crystals surged, creating countless tiny whirlwinds that spun rapidly around the vampires.
Cloud Dragon spat out most of Notorious B.I.G., keeping only a small portion within its body.
The excited Notorious B.I.G. pounced, its crimson body tearing apart. Like a leech, once attached, it couldn't be shaken off.
The biting cold wind danced with ice crystals across the plaza. The crimson monsters clawed and bit, hunting their prey.
Survivors began to flee. The crimson monsters pursued any moving objects, spreading out in all directions of the city.
"What an incredible Stand. Mr. Dawn, could I possibly ask..."
Hewitt was interrupted before he could finish.
"No."
Hewitt tapped the ground lightly with his cane, a hint of dissatisfaction rising within him.
"Rudely interrupting someone is very impolite..."
"I have no desire to converse with a hypocrite."
Dawn picked at his ear, deliberately making an impatient expression.
Hewitt's face darkened, and he suddenly charged towards Dio.
"Hey, hey, I was the one who interrupted you. Why are you going after Dio?"
Dawn continued to taunt, but Hewitt didn't respond, only charging relentlessly at Dio.
The crimson monsters lunged at Hewitt, but he paid them no mind, allowing his flesh to be devoured as he focused solely on getting close to Dio.
During this process, Hewitt's Stand continuously dropped golden sand, negating the fatal consequences.
Seeing this, Dawn controlled Cloud Dragon to approach Joestar and quickly untie him.
"Hewitt's ability is very strange. Dio is nearing his lifespan, go help him quickly."
Joestar looked at the young man before him, a sudden surge of bloodlust welling up inside him.
"I will. The most important thing right now is to get you out of the city."
Dawn frowned as he looked at Joestar's reddening eyes.
"You'd better calm down, Joestar."
Joestar suddenly shook his head, his face contorted. He was shaking rhythmically, and Dawn felt like he should add some background music to make it more intense.
BOOM!!!
A massive explosion erupted from within the city. Notorious B.I.G. had gathered together, causing widespread destruction and harvesting any moving objects and lives.
"With this commotion, I hope it doesn't attract Kars."
Dawn dropped his playful demeanor and prepared to quickly deal with Hewitt.
"Kars? Where's Kars!"
Joestar stopped his demonic head-shaking, his eyes clearing.
"Joestar, I'll have Cloud Dragon take you. D'Arby will probably meet you outside the city. Maybe? That guy disappears the moment a fight starts."
Dawn jumped off Cloud Dragon, crouched, and quickly ran towards Hewitt.
"He's not escaping, but coming towards me."
Hewitt, who was facing off against Dio, saw Dawn approaching and attempted to leap away. However, Dio seized the opportunity and instantly froze time.
"The World!"
Dio lunged forward, channeling Ripple into a punch that struck Hewitt's chest, destroying his internal organs through vibration.
He immediately leaped past Hewitt and approached the Hourglass Stand, unleashing another flurry of blows while roaring madly.
"MUDA! MUDA! MUDA! MUDA! MUDA! MUDA!"
The instant time resumed, Hewitt screamed as he was sent flying backward, his chest punched through, his body nearly snapped in two. He crashed violently into a half-finished building, kicking up dust and disappearing from sight for a long time.
The Hourglass Stand was also heavily damaged, its body covered in cracks. Golden sand trickled down these fissures, and in an instant, more than half of it had fallen out.
Dawn blinked. He seemed to have discovered Hewitt's weakness.
"Don't get cocky... You touched me just now, didn't you?"
Hewitt struggled to get up, his face twisted and nose askew. He forcefully straightened his bones, attempting to accelerate the healing of his injuries.
"Dawn, I'll leave the rest to you."
Dio turned to look at Dawn. A large number of wrinkles had formed around his eyes, and his muscles had atrophied, making him look like a centenarian.
Dawn handed over the Stone Mask he had prepared earlier, gave a thumbs-up, and smiled, "I've already figured it out. As long as I don't directly touch the enemy, my lifespan won't be stolen. Leave it to me."
Dio nodded, took the Stone Mask, and stood in place, a flicker of struggle in his eyes.
"A novice brat, you think you can defeat me? My life is endless and inexhaustible!!!"
Hewitt's injuries were fully healed. Hearing this, he felt deeply humiliated and flew into a rage.
"Your Stand isn't even here, what are you going to fight me with? Ridiculous beliefs, or rather, nonsensical resolve!"
Hewitt shot forward, slashing his wrist's artery. Hot blood gushed out.
Powerful Ripple covered it, shaping it into a whip, which he swung ferociously.
This blood contained the power of Ripple. With Dawn's physical condition, even a slight touch would result in instant death.
"When did I ever say I only had one Stand?"
Dawn's words were astonishing. Even though Diavolo in his mind was unwilling to take the risk, he had no choice but to act.
"King Crimson!"
Diavolo activated Epitaph and saw the scene of the whip passing through himself.
"Fate favors us."
Diavolo muttered to himself. Time Erasure took effect, and the whip passed through his body without causing the slightest damage.
Diavolo drew Anubis, unleashing a single slash that carried the power and speed of Dio's prime, beheading him in one move.
Diavolo sheathed his sword.
The Hourglass Stand slowly dropped a grain of golden sand. Hewitt's headless corpse shakily stood up.
"I... possess immortality. Even gods are helpless."
Hewitt picked up his own head and placed it back on his neck, glaring at Dawn through gritted teeth.
