"Vampire Assassination Squad?"
Dawn looked at Prosciutto approaching, his tone slightly odd.
"No, to be precise, we are an assault squad. The power of eternal life has granted us formidable direct combat capabilities."
Prosciutto smiled faintly, revealing four sharp fangs, his eyes filled with amusement.
"Four enemies, and two of them are vampires. As great immortals, to be reduced to fighting alongside humans... it's truly disappointing."
With a thought, Prosciutto summoned his Stand.
"Guts."
As Guts appeared, a large amount of green mist began to permeate the surrounding air, spreading rapidly with the air currents.
Signs of aging began to appear on Dawn and Hewitt.
Hewitt sensed something was wrong, clapped his hands together, and shouted.
"Expressway!"
The hourglass Stand slapped Joestar, casually siphoning a few hundred years of his lifespan.
Hewitt's aging began to reverse.
"Hewitt, you bastard! I'm not a power bank!"
Joestar kicked the hourglass Stand away, glaring at Hewitt.
Hewitt raised his hands to his chest, bowed slightly in apology, then shifted his gaze to Dawn.
"Father, please leave here first. The enemy seems to have a special attack against human lifespans. If you stay any longer, you'll age to death."
Dawn waved his hand and glanced at the sky.
High above, Cloud Dragon understood, let out a low roar, and fully activated the ice crystals within him, causing a small-scale hailstorm on the spot.
The hailstones fell with a "pitter-patter," quickly dispelling the stifling heat and completely nullifying Guts's ability.
Prosciutto's expression immediately turned ugly. He glanced at Dawn's neck, then patted his hands. The squad members hiding in the vicinity saw this and immediately launched their attacks.
"Hewitt, you traitor."
Iluso's figure appeared in the mirror, his expression furious. He raised his hand and made a throat-slitting gesture.
"As a human, daring to control vampires... today is your death day."
Upon hearing this, Hewitt's lips curled into a polite smile. Without anyone noticing, he siphoned a bit more lifespan from Joestar and chose to take the initiative.
The figures of the two quickly disappeared from the real world. As for the outcome, it could only be known once the battle was decided.
Pesci, who had the ability to shrink people, and Baby Face jumped out, launching a surprise attack on Joestar.
The three fought further and further away, disappearing from sight in a short while.
"Joestar, you can't even deal with these two losers. Do you need this great me to help?"
Dio, calm and composed, summoned his Stand, The World, and was about to charge forward when he was blocked by Ghiaccio's White Album.
Ghiaccio licked his lips, and ice armor rapidly formed all over his body. He looked at Dio with a leisurely expression.
"Old immortal, to escape death, you chose to become a vampire..."
Before Ghiaccio could finish speaking, Dio strode forward and punched him flying.
"Noisy."
Dio walked step by step towards Ghiaccio, a ferocious glint flashing in his eyes.
Dawn glanced back at everyone's situation. In his mind, Diavolo's reminder immediately came through.
"Dawn, don't get distracted. Pesci's Stand, Beach Boys, its ability is actually very powerful. Be careful."
Dawn nodded. With a thought, he activated [Stand·Beyond Imagination·Upgrade].
Target: King Crimson.
Diavolo's surprised cry rang out. A powerful force surged from the depths of his soul, making him incredibly excited.
"King Crimson!"
King Crimson's figure landed on the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Its body was covered in explosive muscles, and it stood nearly three meters tall. A light stomp left spiderweb-like cracks on the ground.
"Time Erasure."
Diavolo let out an excited roar. Space shattered, and all things began to operate according to cause and effect.
King Crimson appeared like lightning behind Pesci and Prosciutto. Its towering figure blocked the sun, casting large shadows.
"Time, begin to operate."
Time Erasure ended. The two were still talking, not understanding what had happened, when a sharp pain struck them.
King Crimson's exaggerated palm pressed down on both their heads. With a sudden force, two headless corpses swayed and fell.
Even with their heads severed, the two bodies still reacted instinctively, lashing out wildly.
The vampires' powerful regenerative abilities were still active.
Diavolo scoffed; all struggles were futile. In the face of absolute power, regeneration merely meant experiencing more pain.
King Crimson raised its foot and crushed the two's limbs.
"Vampire regeneration is far inferior to Kars. Losing your head is a sure death. If you're still worried, throw them into the sun."
Dawn spoke up to stop him. Diavolo was indeed ruthless. If he wasn't going to act, fine, but once he did, he left no room for recovery.
King Crimson nodded and kicked the two into the sunlight.
As soon as the sun hit them, their bodies rapidly dissolved and disintegrated, leaving only empty clothes in the blink of an eye.
King Crimson stood in place, clenching its fist, feeling incredibly exhilarated.
Time Erasure had increased by at least thirty seconds, and more importantly, it provided a boost to speed and strength.
In this state, he even felt confident he could take on Bucciarati's team alone.
"Dawn, this power doesn't belong to me."
Diavolo was very clear-headed. The regular King Crimson would have taken some effort to deal with the two vampires.
The most direct method would have been to use sunlight, not this physical destruction.
Dawn calmly lit a cigarette, understanding Diavolo's thoughts. He was still thinking about the Insect Arrow.
Dawn had always been wary of Diavolo, waiting for things to end so he could have Darby extract Diavolo's soul.
He might as well have Rohan Kishibe rewrite Diavolo's memories and thoughts, turning him into Dawn's loyal subordinate.
Everyone else had dealt with their opponents and returned one after another.
Dio returned dragging the silent White Album Ghiaccio, tossing him carelessly onto the ground and spitting.
"Mere trash."
Hewitt emerged from the mirror, elegantly taking out a handkerchief to wipe the bloodstains from his hands.
"Foolish. Didn't you know I fight with my main body?"
Everyone waited and waited, but still no sign of Joestar's return.
"What's going on? What is Joestar doing?"
Dio was the first to lose patience and eagerly went to look for him.
A short while later, Dio returned holding a shrunken Joestar in his hands.
"Old man, I told you long ago your Stand is useless."
Joestar stomped hard on Dio's palm, furious.
"Fighting two-on-one, what's there to talk about!? One guy with small feet was already troublesome enough, and it wouldn't be hard to deal with him with my intelligence, but then there was this Baby Face who kept chopping at me while calling me 'Daddy'! It's infuriating!"
Joestar felt incredibly depressed and sat in Dio's palm, sulking.
"Alright everyone, the urgent matter now is to get out of here and find Mista."
Dawn looked at the surrounding mess, feeling a headache coming on.
Everyone nodded. Dio pocketed Joestar against his protests, and the group then headed in a sparsely populated direction.
