"Dawn, did you call me over for something?"
Mista looked up at the scarlet sky. His gaze lingered for a moment on the enormous phantom in the distance, and he swallowed.
"I ran into a tough opponent, so I called you out to give you a heads-up. If I need you to step in later, don't hesitate."
Dawn stepped forward and gave Mista a warm hug, then patted him on the shoulder. He made a gun shape with his hand and solemnly urged him.
Mista's temple throbbed, and one eye twitched as he recalled the ultimate torture he'd endured while defeating the Ultimate Lifeform—starting over endlessly.
"Insect Arrow..."
Mista thought of something and opened his mouth to speak.
Dawn flipped one hand and winked. The Insect Arrow pendant appeared in his palm as if by magic, without a sound.
"Got it."
Mista raised his hand cannon and aimed it at his temple, muttering to himself. Dawn leaned closer and heard Mista's quiet muttering.
"I don't need to know where this is, and I don't need to know who the enemy is. All I know is that I'm about to start over."
Two-Faced Emperor charged toward Dawn. King Crimson Requiem appeared and threw a punch. The sound of space shattering rang out again and again.
"King Crimson!"
Diavolo roared and activated Time Erasure, controlling Dawn's body as it shot into the sky and quickly escaped Two-Faced Emperor's range.
"Time resumes."
Two-Faced Emperor looked up and saw Dawn standing atop a high-rise, looking down at him.
"Cowards aren't worthy of being my enemy."
Two-Faced Emperor stood in place and taunted him. Diavolo snorted and immediately controlled King Crimson to fire back.
"The Emperor of Darkness doesn't fight when caught off guard."
Two-Faced Emperor clicked his tongue, hardly taking the remark to heart.
