History
Pangu transformed into the Prehistoric World, leaving only a lingering thought of himself. Its Heavenly Dao developed over time, but its cycle remained incomplete: living beings had no reincarnation after death 165 232.
Hou Tu established the Six Paths of Reincarnation at the Netherworld Blood Sea. Ping Xin then founded the Underworld around them, assigning positions and declaring it a service to all living beings. The arrangement earned Heavenly Dao Merit and reduced the Witch-Demon Tribulation’s calamitous energy 234 241.
Solar energy and the Underworld continued to generate merit as the world expanded. With the Witch and Demon clans having found a way out of their tribulation, Hongjun proposed a new arrangement to allow the Human Path to emerge. The sages stabilized the resulting three realms 315 316 317.
