"Professor Foxx?"

"Yeah." George pulled back the leg he had just stepped into the secret passage with.

"I know you usually get along well with Professor Foxx, Lynn, but I have to tell you, there's really something off about him," he said seriously.

Fred picked up where George left off.

"We noticed something strange about him on the Marauder's Map right at the beginning of the term. He wandered all over the castle almost every night, and it went on for a long time."

"Yeah," George said. "During that time, we didn't even dare sneak out at night. We were afraid of running into him somewhere in the castle."

Lynn looked at them skeptically, feeling that this did not quite fit their personalities.

"When you two ran into something like this, shouldn't you have boldly investigated the truth behind Professor Foxx's strange behavior? Why would you be too scared to sneak out at night?"

George and Fred smiled awkwardly. In the end, George spoke.

"You really do know us well. Fine, I admit we tried following Professor Foxx at night to see what he was doing in the castle, but every time we were about to trail him, Filch suddenly showed up. He never caught us, but we didn't dare keep taking the risk."

Lynn lowered his head and thought for a moment, feeling that it was too much of a coincidence.

"What about recently? Has he still come out in the middle of the night?"

"No." Fred shook his head and thought back for a while. "He stopped coming out at night sometime before the Christmas break."

"Thank you. I'll remember what you said," Lynn said earnestly.

The Weasley brothers said goodbye to Lynn, then slipped into the secret passage and headed to Hogsmeade for their shopping.
