After talking with Professor Foxx and arranging to keep in touch by owl, Lynn was ushered out of the hospital room.
Dumbledore went in afterward, though Lynn had no idea what he said to Professor Foxx inside.
Lynn stayed outside the room, teasing Phoenix Fawkes, who had also been left outside. However, it seemed uninterested in Lynn and barely acknowledged him.
Lynn did not have to wait long before Dumbledore emerged from the room. He summoned Phoenix Fawkes with a wave, called Lynn over, and took him away from St. Mungo's Hospital.
After returning to Hogwarts, Lynn's school life got back on track.
Every morning, he got up early to practice spells by the Black Lake with Cedric, Ian, and the others. During the day, he attended classes, and in his spare time, he studied the various Dark magic books Professor Foxx had left in his office and given to him.
Occasionally, he also visited the Room of Requirement to experiment with Dark magic that was inconvenient to practice in public.
His days were fulfilling, much like his high school life in his previous life.
Time passed quickly, and final exams were just around the corner.
Lunchtime.
Looking at the green column in the Great Hall that towered far above the other three Houses' scores, Cedric could not help but complain.
"How exactly are you farming points? Why does Slytherin have so many more points than us?"
He was an active, diligent student himself, fighting for Hufflepuff points in every class. Yet the gap between them and Slytherin had not narrowed; it had only grown wider.
Lynn kept his head down, cutting his sausage and pretending to be mute. Ian, meanwhile, shot him a sidelong look. He was in the same
