Background / History

East King Duke transmigrated into the Great Desolation while crossing a street in his former life, inheriting the original East King Duke's memories. He immediately understood the danger of Hongjun's proposal to make him Head of Male Immortals: his initial cultivation was limited, while Di Jun, Taiyi, Kunpeng, and other ambitious powers were already competing for control of the Great Desolation. 1

Rather than passively accept Hongjun's appointment, he leveraged his assigned duty to obtain protective treasures. Hongjun bestowed the Sky Measuring Ruler and Universe Mirror, then later granted him the Heavenly Emperor Position, the Creation White Lotus, and the Myriad Immortals Scroll. East King Duke sought the imperial title because it would place his future actions on the side of righteousness and give him legitimate authority to command the Primordial World. 2 3

After leaving Zixiao Palace, he began gathering supporters for an Immortal Court. His rise drew immediate hostility from Di Jun, Taiyi, Kunpeng, Minghe, and other Great Powers, but he viewed recruitment as essential to avoiding an isolated rule. 5

He later became Group Leader of the Myriad Worlds Chat Group. Through its Billion Times Critical Strike privilege, cross-world worship, and exchanges with members, he gained faith, Auspiciousness, techniques, and treasures that accelerated both his personal growth and the Immortal Court's expansion. 4 6 75 86

East King Duke is calculating, opportunistic, and unusually bold before stronger figures. Faced with a position that could make him a target, he publicly pressed Hongjun for weapons and protection rather than accepting the danger without compensation. 2
