When they unrolled the scroll to the end, everyone read the final lines and grew solemn.
At the end, Itachi mentioned that the battle in Grass Country had badly damaged Nagato's "Six Paths of Pain." Nagato had therefore replaced them, and the new Six Paths weren't just anyone—they were the Jinchuriki Akatsuki had captured in its repeated attacks.
According to Itachi's analysis, Nagato had done this because he feared the group led by "A." For now, he was devoting nearly all his attention to modifying and adjusting to these new "Six Paths of Pain," trying to strengthen himself further.
Itachi therefore surmised that once Nagato had mastered his new Six Paths of Pain, he would immediately launch the decisive battle!
