On Konoha's main street.
Sasuke's purple, half-armored Susanoo was like a god, forcing Kabuto Yakushi, who had activated Sage Mode, to dodge back and forth.
But his apparent advantage did not make Sasuke happy. He knew his opponent was toying with him, wearing down his Dojutsu.
"I can't keep letting him drag this out!"
With a steely resolve, Sasuke immediately drew back Susanoo's bow and aimed at Kabuto.
Whoosh!
In the next instant, a purple arrow shot toward Kabuto at an incredible speed, like a thunderbolt.
"So fast!"
Kabuto was secretly taken aback. Even in Sage Mode, he found it difficult to dodge Sasuke's arrow!
Boom.
The purple arrow slammed into the spot where Kabuto had been, exploding and kicking up a cloud of dust.
"Did I hit him?"
Sasuke peered through the haze, only to find Kabuto unharmed once the dust had settled.
No, that wasn't quite right. There had been an obvious wound on Kabuto's waist and abdomen, but it had healed rapidly, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Sasuke knew Kabuto must have avoided a fatal blow and that his terrifying regenerative abilities were why he seemed uninjured. Without hesitation, Sasuke once again drew back Susanoo's bow.
This time, however, Kabuto didn't give him another chance to aim and shoot. He darted away and hid among the surrounding ruins.
"Damn it!"
After cursing under his breath, Sasuke remained on guard, keeping his aim trained on the area where Kabuto was hiding.
Rumble...
Just then, the ground beneath Sasuke began to shake. Before he could figure out what was happening, the soil and rocks beneath his feet seemed to come alive, quickly rising up. In just a few breaths, they formed a huge hemispherical rock shell that covered Sasuke and his Susanoo.
