Boom.
With a thunderous roar, a tremendous blast of air swept out in every direction, tearing down all the walls around the mansion in front of them.
"Hah..."
Looking at the ruins before him, Tanjiro remained expressionless.
It was obvious.
The instant Tanjiro swung his blade at Narume, she had activated her Blood Demon Art, "Infinite Castle," trapping him inside.
Rising slowly with his sword in hand, Tanjiro glanced around and said, "Without a supply of flesh and blood, your Blood Demon Art won't last long."
There was no reply.
Only streets and houses stretched quietly into the distance.
Tanjiro sniffed again, as if he had caught a scent. With a sudden stomp, he shot off in one direction like a cannonball.
Whether they were houses or walls, everything along the way was as fragile as paper before Tanjiro. He couldn't even be bothered to swing his sword.
Boom.
After crashing through another wall, he finally saw Narume on the other side, holding her biwa.
Strum!
But before Tanjiro could swing his sword, Narume plucked the biwa again. The space around them shifted in an instant, and Tanjiro was transported to another unfamiliar house.
"Hmph!"
With a single snort, Tanjiro stomped the ground again and shot out of the house like a cannonball.
After this happened several times, Tanjiro found Narume again. She was already panting, her face weary, and even the notes of her biwa had begun to falter.
A demon's Blood Demon Art didn't come without a cost. The "Infinite Castle," which let Narume control space on a massive scale, consumed far more flesh and blood than ordinary Blood Demon Arts.
With Narume's strength as Upper Moon Three, she could have sustained such a drain for a long time if she had replenished her reserves before the battle.
