Scorpion and Deidara jumped down from the Clay Bird and slowly walked toward the cave not far away.
When they reached the cave entrance, Scorpion stopped.
Deidara was stunned for a moment. "We're not going in?"
"The other side is the Mizukage, after all, and a Perfect Jinchuriki at that," Scorpion said. "We should still show him the proper courtesy!"
Deidara smiled, then waved his hand.

In an instant, the Clay Bird following behind them spread its wings and charged into the cave. Immediately afterward, the cave was rocked by a tremendous explosion. The blast nearly blew off the top of the cave, creating a huge open pit.
At the center of the pit, Fourth Mizukage Karatachi Yagura propped himself up with his familiar iron hook and gasped heavily.
Beside him, the Kirigakure Ninja who had come to warn him saw Scorpion and Deidara, dressed in Akatsuki Organization cloaks, in the distance and turned pale with shock. "Y-you followed me?!"
"What a clever disguise technique. Unfortunately, your technique is useless before this eye of mine!"
As Deidara spoke, he pointed at his left eye, which was covered by a monocular.
It was this trained left eye, combined with the monocular, that had seen through the Camouflage Technique used by the Kirigakure Ninja who had gone to warn Fourth Mizukage. That was how they had tracked him all the way here.
Scorpion paid no attention to the messenger and instead fixed his gaze on Fourth Mizukage Karatachi Yagura.
Unlike what he had imagined, Yagura was currently covered in bandages from head to toe, with only his eyes exposed. Even from far away, they could smell the strong scent of medicinal herbs on him. Clearly, the rumors of his serious injuries were no fabrication.
