Tsunade was calm as she studied Shinji. "I need to know exactly what this threat is!"
Shinji pondered for a moment, then told Tsunade that the Overlord of Fear was invading the Shinobi World.
For one thing, Tsunade was the Hokage, and knowing the truth would prevent a lot of unnecessary trouble. For another, she was still one of the top Medical Ninja in the Shinobi World, so Shinji was considering recruiting her for the research team as well.
After learning about the Overlord of Fear and the Shinobi World's current predicament, Tsunade quickly connected the dots between it and the series of strange events that had taken place. "Were those Upper Moon demons who appeared out of nowhere, and that Fake 'Itachi Uchiha,' both created by the Overlord of Fear?"
"More or less!"
Shinji nodded.
Tsunade suddenly understood. "I see. Then why didn't you tell me sooner?"

Once she learned that everything about the Overlord was a form of contamination, and that the more people knew of its existence, the faster it would corrode the Shinobi World, Tsunade finally understood why Shinji had been playing the mysterious leader while putting together another Akatsuki Organization.
Tsunade's expression grew complicated as she took it all in. "Do we have a good chance of winning?"
Shinji shook his head.
Tsunade's expression stiffened. "What do you mean? Are you saying we don't have a chance at all?"
"I don't know either," Shinji said. "All we can do right now is improve our strength as much as possible!"
Tsunade sighed, then asked briskly, "What do you need me to do?"
