Before long, the Tower Spirit delivered two Spellbooks and a small chest of magical materials to Isaac. Carrying them out of the mage tower, Isaac casually tossed out a pumpkin and transformed it into a Pumpkin Carriage. After placing the items inside, he finally looked at Philo.
"Mm, which way are we going?"
Philo withdrew the gleam from her eyes and once again revealed a sweet smile. "To my mage tower. Perfect timing—we can meet our other teammate and get used to each other beforehand."
"Get used to each other?" Isaac raised a brow. It seemed this Witch's ability was rather unusual.
Unfortunately, in response to Isaac's question, Philo merely smiled mysteriously and offered no explanation.
Isaac did not press further. He immediately transformed the Pumpkin Carriage back, then put it away.
"Huh? It can store items too?" Philo blinked, staring blankly as Isaac put the pumpkin away. The things that had just been placed inside the Pumpkin Carriage had not fallen out. Could this [Legend] be used like that? She had thought Isaac was going to drive the carriage there.
"It's something I developed recently. Just a little trick. Unfortunately, it's still rather troublesome—nothing compared to a real spatial item." Isaac shrugged helplessly and glanced at the golden bracelet set with red and green gemstones on Philo's wrist.
If he had a spatial item, why would he need to develop such a troublesome method?
And it was not without a cost. During the time he stored things inside the pumpkin, he had to sustain the same mana expenditure as when transforming the pumpkin into a Pumpkin Carriage. The consumption was not great, but over a long period, it was still hard to bear.
"That's still amazing." Philo shook her head in praise.
Isaac smiled and did not continue on
