Background / History

Isaac created Liuli using the Demon God's power, making her his kin and a member of the Demon God Species. Upon being named, she outwardly remained expressionless, though her slight smile showed that the gesture made her happy. Isaac discovered that she possessed two Authorities—an unusual trait among his kin—and immediately recognized her exceptional potential. 74

Though newly born, Liuli entered combat soon afterward when adventurers ambushed Isaac near Philis Town. Her instincts and magic-enhanced body allowed her to contend with opponents near the Second Order, but her inexperience left her vulnerable to an archer's poisoned arrow. The wound exposed the tumor-like flesh beneath her human guise; panicking over Isaac seeing her true face, she killed every witness. 75 76

During the Lamp Trial, Liuli secured a golden lamp with her Invisible Hands and received the All-Severing Treasure Tool from Isaac. With Isaac's Flesh Conversion support, she used the weapon to kill six ambushing knights in a single charge. 80 83

Liuli later took responsibility for the Demon Rat and Dragon Lizard breeding operations, reported experimental data to Isaac, and assisted him in laboratory work. Her desire to prove herself more useful than steward Smith became especially apparent during these duties. 95 96
