Background / History

The Human Emperor Banner emerged from the fusion of the two battle banners formerly associated with Jiang Li’s Headless Martial Soul and Killing God General. Its creation required Human Emperor Blood Essence as a guide, with Human Emperor Dragon Qi and Heaven and Earth Fortune as its foundation. The completed banner first appeared as a patternless golden banner after a three-day fusion process. 167 168

Its earliest battlefield use was the collection of Huang Tianyi’s soul. The banner drew out Huang Tianyi’s spirit and transmitted fragments of his memories to Jiang Li, revealing both Huang Tianyi’s crimes and Bian Lichuan’s involvement in the assassination attempt. 173

As Jiang Li accumulated spirits from Exotic Beasts and enemies, the banner developed into an army-scale weapon. It supported large engagements against the Golden Armored Giant Ant tribe, the Mirror Mountain Beast Tide, and the Barren Sea and Linhai battlefields. 207 250 381 386

Appearance

The banner initially manifests as a large golden banner with a mysterious golden pole. Five-clawed golden dragons coil around the pole as it advances; after all ten dragons were condensed, the banner transformed from gold to black. 168 296
