Leis Jing is a Purple Crystal Divine Beast nurtured from the Purple Thorn Sovereign God's essence blood within the special environment of the Purple Crystal Mountain Range. Though regarded as her son, his birth differs from ordinary divine offspring; he is one of only two Purple Crystal Divine Beasts, alongside the Purple Thorn Sovereign God herself. His Innate Divine Ability is weaker than his mother's. 104

He was born tens of millions of years ago but spent his entire life confined to the million-mile Purple Crystal Mountain Range. His mother required him to reach fivefold Destruction fusion—Peak Asura strength—before leaving, while his own comprehension remained at the threefold level. 46 52 87

Leis Jing confronts Hermes after Hermes begins collecting purple crystals, then orders his monsters to attack. Hermes defeats the Purple Crystal Monster Leader and reaches a breakthrough, prompting Leis Jing to seek friendship rather than continue fighting. 42 43 46

He attempts to persuade Hermes to become his mother's Sovereign's Emissary, partly because he wants to keep the interesting and powerful newcomer nearby. Hermes accepts the appointment, and the two become blood brothers. 49 50 51
