A Legend Appeared Again

Chen Xuan suddenly felt someone grab him.

He looked back and found it was Su Xingwan. Her lips moved anxiously, but all he heard was a ringing in his ears.

He pointed at his ears and shook his head, then patted the back of her hand, telling her not to panic.

Su Xingwan caught on and pointed repeatedly at his chest and shoulders.

Following her gestures, Chen Xuan saw strange patches appearing across his body, like a mosaic made of TV static.

That clearly was not normal.

And it was not just him. Similar patches had appeared on Lin Qing and Gu Zhaoning.

He smiled and made sure Su Xingwan was watching him. Then he mouthed three words.

It's. All. Over.

Su Xingwan stood frozen for a moment before she understood.

She bit her lip, about to reply, when the patches multiplied at a dizzying speed. In the blink of an eye, they covered everyone!

Chen Xuan instinctively shut his eyes and stepped back. When he opened them again, he was back in the suite.

Lin Qing was the second to wake. She blinked, turned toward him, and smiled. "That was quite an adventure. I thought I'd never dream again."

The other two gradually woke four or five minutes later.

"Ugh... I'm so dizzy..." Gu Zhaoning slowly sat up, pressing a hand to her forehead. "It feels like we were in that dream for ages."

"It was only about an hour," Chen Xuan replied.

Outside, it was still daylight.

"Where's Su Xingwan?" Gu Zhaoning felt around until she found her friend. "How are you feeling?"

Su Xingwan was still lying on the carpet, staring into space as though she had not fully emerged from the dream.

"Don't worry. The source of the nightmares is gone. She'll get better with time,"
