The journey to the future went remarkably smoothly. They went up to the second floor, entered Lin Qing's room, then passed through the back door, and the group was already standing inside a dilapidated apartment building.
Outside the window was the same dim yellow sky. Fierce winds carried sand and dust as they howled endlessly between the buildings, as if they would never cease.
Chen Xuan first swept the area with his Mind Method before cautiously pushing open the door. The corridor was completely empty, and the breach smashed open by the giant four-legged monster last time was still clearly visible.
