"Good to see you all again, old classmates!"
Lin Qingzhu, Xu Yingying, and Li Fei walked over to Wei Junjie and the others, smiling as they greeted them.
Xu Yingying smiled too. "When Wei Junjie called me earlier, I happened to be catching up with Qingzhu and a few other friends. I didn't expect we'd run into you all again so soon."
She'd brought it up of her own accord to explain why she'd turned down Wei Junjie's invitation to come over and join the reunion after the anniversary celebrations.
"Wang Jinxuan immediately stepped forward to greet her, beaming. "Qingzhu, I didn't expect you to come back to your old school, too! Are you here for its fiftieth anniversary celebration?"
The others greeted Lin Qingzhu and Xu Yingying as well.
Yang Jian and the others, however, looked at Lin Qingzhu with a trace of uncertainty. They were probably still wondering whether she'd really broken up with Ning Wangshu and started dating someone else.
"No, I just happened to feel like coming back for a visit today. I didn't even know it was our school's fiftieth anniversary."
Lin Qingzhu smiled at Wang Jinxuan.
Wang Jinxuan was taken aback. "I thought you'd come back especially for the anniversary! But since you're here, why don't you join us for the celebration and then we can find somewhere to catch up properly?"
"It's been years since we last saw each other. It's rare for us to run into each other like this."
Zhang Wenlong chimed in. "Exactly, Lin Qingzhu, Xu Yingying. Let's get together after the anniversary. We haven't had many chances to meet up over the years."
"Since so many of our old classmates are back this time, we should all get together!"
Lin Qingzhu smiled and shook her head. "No, you all
