The next morning.
A little after nine, Zhang Yong came to pick up Ning Wangshu.
A little over twenty minutes later, the two arrived at the Blue Mountain Club again.
They didn't go inside, though, because Song Guowei was already waiting at the entrance. Hu Guangji, from the day before, was also in Song Guowei's car.
"Brother Ning, shall we head straight out, then? Which car would you like to take?"
Song Guowei rolled down the window and asked Ning Wangshu.
Ning Wangshu glanced at the cars behind Song Guowei and was about to answer when Zhang Yong suddenly spoke up beside him. "Um, Brother Ning, why don't you ride with me again?"
"You?"
Ning Wangshu was taken aback.
Song Guowei also glanced at Zhang Yong, raised an eyebrow, and smiled. "What, Xiao Zhang? You're thinking of coming along too?"
Zhang Yong grinned and rubbed his hands together. "Hehe, Manager Song, I'd like to come along and broaden my horizons. I just don't know if you'd mind."
Song Guowei chuckled. "As long as you're not worried about getting hurt if the two sides end up fighting, I don't mind if you want to come."
"Then thank you, Manager Song!"
Zhang Yong hurriedly replied.
On the one hand, he genuinely wanted to broaden his horizons. On the other, he naturally hoped to use this opportunity to get closer to Song Guowei and Ning Wangshu.
As for anything else, he wasn't particularly worried.
Even a big shot like Song Guowei wasn't nervous and was personally leading people there. What did he have to be afraid of?
Besides, times were different now. Both sides were prominent figures, so no matter what happened, they wouldn't actually fight to the death.
Since Zhang Yong wanted to come along, Ning Wangshu couldn't be bothered to switch cars. "All right, I'll keep riding with you, Manager Zhang."
"Sounds good!"
Song Guowei nodded.
Then the group set off by car...
They drove for over an hour.
It was nearly eleven in the morning when Ning Wangshu and the others finally arrived at a mining area.
As soon as they reached the entrance to the mining zone, they saw several cars blocking the gate. On either side, more than twenty people were sitting beneath sun umbrellas.
When those people saw the cars approaching, they all stood up and walked over with unfriendly expressions. Leading them were a young man in his early thirties and another man around forty, dressed in black martial arts garb with a fierce look on his face.
After parking by the roadside, Song Guowei and the others got out. Ning Wangshu and Zhang Yong also climbed out and joined Song Guowei.
"Brother Ning, the man in black is Wu Shengtian!"
Song Guowei told Ning Wangshu beside him.
Hu Guangji already knew who the other man was, so Song Guowei didn't need to introduce him.
Ning Wangshu nodded slightly. He had noticed the man as soon as he got out of the car and could tell at a glance that the man's cultivation had reached the Ninth Layer of the Qi Refining Stage.
That was considerably higher than Hu Guangji's cultivation.
Hu Guangji was only at the Seventh Layer of the Qi Refining Stage. The gap between them was quite substantial.
As for the so-called Xiantian that Hu Guangji had mentioned earlier, Ning Wangshu didn't understand how martial artists on Earth classified their cultivation realms.
So he could only judge them by the standards of a cultivator.
"Well, if it isn't Manager Song! I didn't expect you to come in person today. Tsk, tsk..."
Just then, the young man in his early thirties stepped forward with a smile. His eyes held a hint of mockery and amusement as he looked at Song Guowei.
Song Guowei furrowed his brow and snorted. "Qi Tianlei, don't get too arrogant! Your Qi Family isn't the only one that can find a Martial Arts Master to back you up."
"I'm giving you three minutes. Take your people and get out of here right now, or don't blame me for what happens next!"
"Hah..."
At Song Guowei's words, Qi Tianlei suddenly scoffed, his face full of derision. He drawled, "Don't blame you? How exactly does Manager Song plan to make things unpleasant for me?"
As he spoke, the man in black beside him—that was Wu Shengtian—stepped forward twice and stared coldly at Song Guowei.
Song Guowei immediately gave Hu Guangji a signal.
Hu Guangji nodded slightly and stepped forward as well, facing off against Wu Shengtian from a distance.
"Qi Tianlei, this is the last chance I'm giving you. Take your Qi Family's people and get out!" Song Guowei said coldly.
"Heh..."
Qi Tianlei chuckled and said calmly, "Song Guowei, our Qi Family is determined to reclaim these mines!"
"I'd also like to see whether the so-called Martial Arts Master you found can defeat Master Wu!"
Clearly, he had complete faith in Wu Shengtian.
"So there's nothing left to discuss?"
Song Guowei raised an eyebrow, then said directly to Hu Guangji, "Master Hu, sorry for the trouble. Please step in!"
"Of course. Don't worry, Manager Song. I'll give it everything I've got!"
Hu Guangji cupped his fists, then strode forward and stared at Wu Shengtian with pride. "Wu Shengtian, I've heard of you, and I know you're a Xiantian master."
"But I'm no worse than you, either. I've also entered the Xiantian Realm!"
As he spoke, Hu Guangji unleashed the powerful aura of a Xiantian Martial Artist.
In an instant, everyone on both sides felt a wave of intense pressure sweep over them, as if a huge boulder had suddenly been dropped on their backs.
Qi Tianlei and his men immediately changed expressions, looking at Hu Guangji in surprise.
Song Guowei and his bodyguards, on the other hand, all looked delighted.
"Master Hu really lives up to his reputation as a Martial Arts Master! Just that aura alone is enough to leave you gasping for breath!" Song Guowei exclaimed.
The bodyguards behind him all nodded, equally stunned.
Only Ning Wangshu glanced at Hu Guangji and gave a quiet laugh, thinking, Hu Guangji thinks that just because he's entered that so-called Xiantian Realm, he can go toe-to-toe with the other man.
He has no idea that his cultivation is nowhere near his opponent's.
Still, that's fine. Hu Guangji definitely won't be a match for the other man. That means the fifty million will be mine.
At the thought, a smile crept onto Ning Wangshu's face.
If he stepped in, Song Guowei would have to pay him the full fifty million in compensation!
With that money, he and his younger sister would have more than enough to live on in the mortal world.
While everyone was still marveling, Wu Shengtian felt the aura of a Xiantian Martial Artist radiating from Hu Guangji and suddenly grinned.
He glanced sideways at Hu Guangji with contempt. "You're only at the First Level of Xiantian, yet you dare say you're no worse than me? Hah, who gave you the nerve?"
"Today, I'll show you that even among Xiantian masters, the difference can be like heaven and earth!"
With that, Wu Shengtian suddenly moved.
In the next instant, he seemed to transform into a blur and charged forward.
At the same time, he clenched his right fist. An overwhelmingly fierce and domineering aura burst forth as he threw a punch straight at Hu Guangji...
Feeling the astonishing power behind Wu Shengtian's punch, Hu Guangji was startled!
This is bad!
He cried out inwardly and hurriedly raised his arm to block...
