Clash with Chu Ge

Feng Jie first becomes involved with Chu Ge after pursuing Miao Daqi to his location. Chu Ge’s concentrated lightning strike injures her severely enough to force a retreat, establishing both his strength and her willingness to withdraw when outmatched. 223

They meet directly soon afterward, when Chu Ge identifies her as the Heavenly Saint Sword. Although their identities as Sons of Destiny make them potential enemies, they agree to cooperate against the Abyssal Demon Cub. 226 227

Rejecting Fate

After the Abyssal Demon Cub incident, Feng Jie chooses to continue traveling with Chu Ge despite their supposed destined rivalry. She argues that neither of them should accept an imposed fate before the future has been decided. 231
