A mighty lion-like demonic beast spread its wings. It possessed ribs with twin wings, and its tail was not that of a lion but featured a scorpion-like tail hook, which looked as though it were carved from white jade.
It then transformed into a human shape. That was the appearance of a middle-aged man wearing noble formal attire and carrying one knife on his back.
Oddly enough, he still had a tail, exactly the same as before his transformation.
He was the Jade Faced Hooked Lion, one of the Ten Great Demon Kings of Maple Leaf Forest.
Jade Faced Hooked Lion was an extremely powerful king of demonic beasts, and his scorpion tail was comparable to an Immortal artifact, able to easily pierce through all kinds of protective armor while carrying even deadlier venom.
Beside him was another, a tiger king whose entire body appeared as though cast from bronze. Its roar shook the mountain forest and rattled all directions, and its aura was equally fierce.
It was the Bronze King Tiger, one of the Ten Great Demon Kings of Maple Leaf Forest.
It did not rush to transform. With bright, spirited eyes, it said, "The King of Hell killed Poisonous Eye. I wonder how much time the two of us brothers can buy against them."
Jade Faced Hooked Lion furrowed his brows tightly, his eyes fixed upon the calm and composed Ling Yun. "We stall for as long as we can. We absolutely cannot let him ruin it."
