Background / History

Qianqian is the daughter of Ling Yun and An Qing. During her early life on Blue Star, Ling Yun dresses her in princess-like clothes, braids her hair, and takes pride in caring for her himself. Qianqian is notably polite to neighbors and openly proud that her father styles her hair and clothing. 7

Her unusual constitution manifests early. Qin Lan discovers that holding Qianqian suppresses the side effects of her failed superpower awakening; what began as a self-interested decision to make Qianqian her goddaughter develops into genuine maternal affection. 74 Qianqian also repeatedly displays an instinct for identifying hidden treasures, such as finding Imperial Green jade inside a smashed Buddha statue. 150

After an incident in an ancient tomb leaves Qianqian unconscious, Ye Fei uses dragon fruit juice to help restore her. Once awake, Qianqian is more excited about having found treasure than frightened by the ordeal, while those around her agree to keep the incident secret for her protection. 176
