Background / History

Gu Yue is the Silver Dragon King and co-lord of the Soul Beasts. Her main personality is defined by near-absolute rationality and a priority toward the survival of Soul Beasts, unlike Na'er, her subordinate personality, who is more easily guided by emotion. Fearing that Na'er’s attachment to the human world would lead her to oppose the Soul Beasts, Gu Yue restored Na'er’s memories and made her aware of their shared responsibility. Gu Yue also transferred control to Na'er to carry out actions that her own rationality prevented her from taking. 278

She had been gravely injured before confronting the Asura God. With Na'er having taken away part of her strength, Gu Yue judged herself unable to contend with the five God Kings, even after regaining Na'er's power. 275 Tang Dongfeng concealed her aura to prevent the Asura God from targeting her and vowed to gain enough strength to protect her. 224

After the destruction of the God Realm, Gu Yue and Tang Dongfeng arrived in the Dou Qi Continent. Though initially existing in a soul state, she used a secret technique to condense a physical body that nearby Dou Huangs and Dou Zongs could not see through. She publicly posed as Tang Dongfeng’s Dragon Clan sister at Jia Nan Academy. 301

Tang Dongfeng later used 600,000 points, a Dou Zun’s remains, and rare treasures to create a Nirvana Egg for Gu Yue.
