Bibi Dong served as the Pontiff of Spirit Hall and was permitted to assume its leadership despite Qian Daoliu's hostility toward her. She is Qian Renxue's biological mother, but their relationship was defined by distance and resentment: Bibi Dong made Qian Renxue address her as “sister” and viewed her daughter as a reminder of her own trauma. 121 158

Her past is tied to Qian Xunji and Yu Xiaogang. Tang Dongfeng reveals that she killed Qian Xunji, absorbed his Angel Martial Soul, and began the Rakshasa God’s inheritance; her unresolved attachment to Yu Xiaogang later drives much of her hostility toward Tang Dongfeng. 152 179

Bibi Dong intervenes when Tang Dongfeng attempts to kill Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo, blocking his Myriad Manifestations of Heaven with Thorn Spider Armor. After identifying him as a Sea God inheritor, she decides that killing him is necessary—even if the act draws Sea God Island’s retaliation or destroys Spirit Hall. 148 149
