Everyone's Allegiance Won, Jin Becomes the Leader!

Uchiha Jin spoke at length.

He never thought about leaking his identity as a traveler. Although he had shared a period of comrade-in-arms camaraderie with the group, they had not known each other for long after all, so he could only offer a simple explanation.

The others had no objections to Uchiha Jin's arrangements.

Immediately after, the mercenary squad concealed themselves directly and raised their guns to aim straight at the main entrance.

Once Uchiha Jin and the others opened the door, a squad wearing full hazmat suits and bearing Umbrella insignia appeared directly before them.

"Subdue them, quickly!"

The leader gave a direct order.

Right after, most of them raised their guns in defense while a few hazmat-suited figures slung their weapons over their backs and walked straight toward the three of them.

Seeing this, Uchiha Jin naturally did not waste words, raising a hand to throw five shuriken.

"Move!"

Almost instantly, the five shuriken accurately pierced the five men's skulls.

Following that, the mercenary squad hiding in the shadows heard the call and began their attack immediately.

Umbrella's biohazard defense force was completely unprepared, clearly never expecting so many people to have survived, and they were thoroughly wiped out almost in the blink of an eye.

Afterward, the group opened a door without a word, and what met their eyes was a simple biological quarantine corridor.

"Beneath Raccoon City, besides the Red Queen, are there any other monitoring devices?"

"No!"

"Regarding our battles down below, do you suspect Umbrella might have hidden a second set of monitoring devices to collect data?"

"Definitely not!"

"Reason?"

"Because the T-Virus is too strong, and everyone down below was infected. The company figured you would reboot the Red Queen, so there was no need for a second set of testing equipment."

"Will the monitoring devices below still function after the Red Queen is taken offline?"

"Yes!"

"When do you suspect someone inside the Umbrella Corporation will come to retrieve this data?"

"I guess tomorrow or the day after!"

It took a full twenty minutes before Uchiha Jin finally finished his questioning.

Then, after making sure the others had no further issues, Uchiha Jin severed the man's neck.

Matt was extremely excited and spoke up immediately, "We should report this immediately and have the authorities thoroughly investigate the Umbrella Corporation!"

Unfortunately, faced with his proposal, no one echoed the sentiment.

Alice let out a soft sigh, her face full of a bitter smile, "Matt, it's useless!"

"Umbrella is a massive multinational corporation. The top elites and dignitaries of every country have deep ties with the company."

"Not to mention we don't have any evidence in our hands; even if we did, we couldn't take down the company!"

The mercenary squad also fell into total silence.

Clearly, they knew Umbrella's power all too well, prompting James Shade to speak up directly.

"Jin, you decide."

"We all know very well in our hearts that whether we like it or not, we have already made a complete enemy of Umbrella, and the company will never let us go."

"You have already proven your wisdom and strength, along with your near-keen intuition, plus those special methods of yours. We believe you are fully qualified to lead us."

"From now on, you are our boss!"
