Taking advantage of the chaos, the group quickly changed clothes and agreed on a meeting place before splitting up and leaving separately.
Evening, six o'clock.
Inside a church that was usually sparsely attended, the reunited group gathered in a circle. Matt could not help asking, "Why did we have to go through so much trouble?"
As for that.
Uchiha Jin could not be bothered to explain, and neither could the mercenary squad.
In the end, Alice spoke up. "Umbrella has its own satellites, as well as its own artificial intelligence."

Uchiha Jin gave them the answer. "I think Umbrella is doing this intentionally. It wants to turn all of Raccoon City into a massive test site."

Thinking of that terrifying outcome, James Shade was the first to speak. "Shouldn't we leave this place as soon as possible?"
"It's already too late." Uchiha Jin shrugged. "It wouldn't make any difference!"
"You've forgotten about the underground sewers, as well as the rats that were infected with the virus long ago."
"Umbrella's actions over the next two days are merely meant to speed up the spread of the T-Virus. In essence, the virus leaked during the Hive incident long ago. It won't matter where we flee."
"Rats in the sewers, cats that eat rats, eagles flying in the sky, all kinds of birds..."

He went straight to the overturned vehicle, rescued the little girl inside, and then used the Body Flicker Technique to head toward Black Gate Bridge.
