Background / History

Minato is Jiraiya's disciple and a prominent member of Konoha's Hokage faction. Before personally taking command of the younger shinobi, he was selected to receive Kakashi after the latter's original squad was politically divided. The village expected Minato's gentle disposition to guide Kakashi away from the darkness surrounding Hatake Sakumo's death. 50 59
