Background / History

The Rumble-Rumble Fruit entered the world as Chen Li's first reward from the Strongest Sign-in System during the Star Luo Empire's aristocratic Martial Soul awakening ceremony. The system removed the fruit's original weaknesses, including its fear of seawater and Seastone, before forcibly fusing it into Chen Li's awakening process as a Logia-type Martial Soul. The resulting electrical surge disrupted the awakening formation and displaced its six awakening stones. Chen Li was confirmed to possess Level 10 Innate Full Soul Power. 1

Its extreme purity immediately created a cultivation problem. A compatible three-hundred-year Thunder Pattern Tiger Soul Ring shattered during the final fusion stage rather than being absorbed. Further attempts with Ten-year, Hundred-year, and Thousand-year Soul Rings produced the same result: the rings collapsed and were rejected by the fruit. Yue Guan concluded that the Martial Soul disdained the mixed external Soul Power contained in ordinary Soul Rings. 2 5 6 14 15

Chen Li's second Martial Soul, the Gulp Gulp Fruit, provided a solution. It could devour, refine, and fuse rejected Soul Rings, removing their impurities and raising their quality. After using it to forge an upgraded Thousand-year Soul Ring, the Rumble-Rumble Fruit accepted the ring for the first time.
