Background / History

Li Muwan began as a Luohe Gate alchemist and one of the first two members of the Peerless Beauty Chat Group alongside Yao Xixue. She initially watched the group's disputes from her alchemy room and tried to mediate between Yao Xixue and Qin Hao. Seeing Qin Hao's appearance and learning that he had reached Nascent Soul at sixteen left her shy, admiring, and convinced that he was far beyond her reach. 3

Qin Hao approached her through alchemy. He sent her Spirit Liquid, which she tested by refining the Grade 2 High-tier Qizuo Pill: her usual success rate of no more than forty percent became seven successes in ten attempts. She then arranged Luohe Gate's exchange of pill recipes for 3,000 drops of the liquid, while receiving an additional 1,000 drops as Qin Hao's personal gift. 6

The Spirit Liquid elevated Li Muwan's standing within Luohe Gate.
