Background / History

Eternal Night Heaven was founded after Ye Junlin summoned Jing Ke with a Bronze Summoning Card. Ye Junlin declared himself Lord, gave the organization its name, and instituted a layered hierarchy ranging from the Lord to Ten Directions Inspectors. Its earliest stated purpose was vengeance and expansion: enemies who blocked its path would be killed, while those who insulted it would be repaid “a hundredfold.” 3

Its first personnel were built around the Eight Guards, an assassin force responsible for high-risk missions such as assassination and espionage. As Ye Junlin continued summoning allies, he established the Seven Stars as a core combat rank and placed Di Yun and Linghu Chong in those positions. 3 20

The organization initially operated through secrecy and proxy forces. Misty Rain Tower served as its public-facing subordinate organization, while Yuan Tiangang expanded intelligence networks and the Bounty Master Stele system. By the conflict over the Glazed Fruit, Yuan Tiangang had begun openly identifying himself as a member of Eternal Night Heaven rather than Misty Rain Tower. 32 73 79

Its standing changed after Qingyun Sect sabotaged Yuan Tiangang’s Land Immortal tribulation. Ye Junlin treated the act as an attack on every member of Eternal Night Heaven and ordered retaliation against Qingyun Sect’s branches, strongholds, and leadership. The campaign culminated in Qingyun Sect’s destruction, establishing Eternal Night Heaven as a feared power across the Eastern Region. 211 215 217 221

After claiming the former Qingyun Sect territory, Eternal Night Heaven established Tianzhu as its external foundation and began building Eternal Night City.
