Background / History
Tang San lived in Holy Spirit Village as Tang Hao's son and studied at Nuoding City Soul Master Academy. After Tang Hao left him only a letter, Tang San acknowledged Xiao Wu as his younger sister and vowed to become strong enough to protect her. 41
Spirit Hall identified him as a suspicious child with Innate Full Soul Power and Blue Silver Grass, suspecting he was Tang Hao's son. Gui Mei abducted Tang San and Xiao Wu from the academy after Tang San noticed an irregular shadow behind them. 43
Tang San was imprisoned in Spirit City, stripped of his Soul Tool and hidden weapons, and restrained by iron rings and chains designed to prevent him from using his techniques. Huang Wei personally interrogated him as Spirit Hall's Holy Son. 46 After Tang Hao died attempting to reach Spirit City, Huang Wei informed Tang San of his father's death, causing him to collapse from grief and rage. 50 54
Yu Xiaogang failed to secure Tang San's release through Spirit Hall's internal authority, but Tang Xiao and the Clear Sky Sect's Second Elder later broke him out of the Dungeon. Tang San returned with them to the hidden Clear Sky Sect, where his Soul Power seal was removed. 58 59 64
At the sect, Tang San trained obsessively to avenge Tang Hao, rescue Xiao Wu, and destroy Spirit Hall. He secretly cultivated under the oppressive force surrounding the Five Finger Mountain Range, then entered the Spiritual Sky Nine Trials connected to the sealed Spiritual Sky Holy Monkey. 90 92 155
During Spirit Hall's assault on the Clear Sky Sect, Huang Wei found Tang San within the Five Finger Mountain Range. Although Tang San attempted to flee, Huang Wei defeated him, shattered the mountain's remaining divine protection, and sealed him rather than killing him. 157
Personality
Tang San is fiercely protective of Xiao Wu and initially defines his strength by his ability to keep her safe. He reacts quickly to danger, noticing Gui Mei's abnormal shadow moments before the abduction. 41 43
Tang Hao's death and his imprisonment turn Tang San's determination into entrenched hatred toward Spirit Hall and Huang Wei. He repeatedly vows revenge, treating cultivation as the means to avenge his father and reclaim Xiao Wu. 52 90 110
Despite his age, Tang San is resilient under harsh conditions. He recovers his composure after encountering the remains of dozens of victims in the Star Dou Great Forest and willingly endures the Five Finger Mountain Range's pressure to strengthen himself. 92 111
