Background / History

Yu Zhi Bo Mi Lu originally served as a dungeon warden under Gui Mei's nominal jurisdiction. At the time he met Huang Wei, he was a Level 79 Soul Saint whose Thought Black Ball martial soul could change into weapons at will, suppress opponents' attacks, and erode them at a high soul-power cost. Huang Wei recognized his potential and recruited him as his first true personal subordinate. Mi Lu immediately pledged to follow Huang Wei without regret, even unto death. 54

Huang Wei rewarded this loyalty with an Immortal Herb, allowing Mi Lu to break through to Soul Douluo. After Tang San was rescued from the dungeon by Clear Sky Sect Titled Douluo, Mi Lu personally confessed his failure to Huang Wei and vowed to become strong enough to capture Tang San again. Rather than punish him, Huang Wei had him transfer Xiao Wu to his villa and arranged for Mi Lu's reassignment under his command. 55 61

Mi Lu subsequently accompanied Huang Wei on his travels as a bodyguard, intelligence contact, and executor of orders. Mi Lu is intensely loyal, deferential, and grateful toward Huang Wei. He consistently addresses him as the Holy Son or Young Master, obeys orders even when worried for Huang Wei's safety, and attributes his own growth entirely to Huang Wei's cultivation and generosity. 54 72 80 137
