After collecting valuable bodies and memories, he left the battered forces to withdraw while Kumogakure pursued Iwagakure; Tamura Hiroshi secretly followed, still intent on capturing Rōshi.

  • Tamura Hiroshi used Adamantine Sealing Chains and poisoned blades to incapacitate the Steel Golem and impale Gari with the Chiyou Sword.
  • Tamura Hiroshi sealed Rōshi’s Tailed Beast Chakra, blocked his Tailed Beast Cannon with the Heavenly Seven-Ringed Shield, and severed both his legs as he fled underground.

Meanwhile, rival villages and factions sought the Ringo Clan’s puppet armor, and Yuri chose a sword design that Hiroshi claimed carried a curse.

  • Tamura Hiroshi’s group bombarded the legless Rōshi from the air, and Rōshi sank into magma and killed himself rather than surrender the Four-Tails.
  • Tamura Hiroshi used an Adamantine Sealing Chain to retrieve Rōshi’s corpse, then escaped with the Ringo ninja as Cloud Ninjas approached.

Tamura Hiroshi abducted Hatake Kakashi, showed him evidence implicating Konoha and Kirigakure’s leaders in past tragedies, and recruited him to Kirigakure. After replacing and enhancing Kakashi’s eyes and body, Tamura revealed evidence that Uchiha Obito might still be alive and had attacked Konoha; Kakashi’s Sharingan evolved as he struggled to accept it.

  • Tamura Hiroshi anesthetized Hatake Kakashi at Uchiha Obito’s grave and carried him to an island laboratory in Kirigakure.
  • Kakashi read files documenting surveillance and autopsies of his family, teachers, and friends, then accepted a Kirigakure forehead protector and agreed to join Tamura.
