Leaves drifted down, but before they could reach the ground, they dissolved in midair into wisps of Green Powder and vanished. The tree itself melted away as quietly as snow in spring, crumbling into Green Powder.

For several meters around it, the ground shimmered with an eerie green light, becoming a stretch of Emerald Green Deathly Stillness.

A faint energy flowed through the spider leg into Dugu Yan's body, and her eyes lit up.

What delighted her even more was that the External Soul Bone had fused with the Jade Phosphorous Corrosive Dragon Bloodline in her body. Each spider leg moved as naturally as her own arm.

With a thought, Dugu Yan retracted the eight green spider legs into her body.

She turned and threw herself onto Lu Chen.

"Yan Zi, put your clothes on first..."

Lu Chen wrapped an arm around her soft waist, looking somewhat helpless.

All three of the Scarlet King's massive heads nodded at once. "In that case, let's head back!"

The Scarlet King turned and walked toward the mouth of the cave.

A ray of golden light from the third eye in the Imperial Auspicious Beast's brow fell upon the Blood Fiend Gluttonous Wolf's remains.

The Three-Eyed Golden Lion slowly closed her third eye. Even the golden light around her dimmed considerably.

She murmured, "They've already left the Star Dou Great Forest?"
