History

The true Asura Demon Sword was wielded by the Asura God and bore the authority to judge all gods. Its blade represented slaughter as a means of judging sin and preserving order, rather than slaughter for its own sake 61 381.

When six-year-old Lu Chen awakened it as his martial soul, the sword appeared as a blood-red giant blade and released a Slaughter Aura powerful enough to erode Lu Jinnian's cauldron martial soul and suppress Yu Xiao Gang's warthog martial soul. The awakening drew the Asura God's attention, who recognized Lu Chen as a potential successor and sent power to him across the God Realm 1.

The sword's blood- and slaughter-related nature became increasingly dangerous in the City of Slaughter. It absorbed blood mist from slain bats and blood essence from corpses, accelerating the awakening of a Demon God formed from accumulated demonic shadows, blood essence, and Lu Chen's own desire for slaughter 249 259 262.

Lu Chen overcame the Demon God in his sea of consciousness rather than surrendering control of his body. The Demon God's sword shattered, its demonic essence was purified into Slaughter Origin Power, and the martial soul underwent its second awakening into the Asura Light Sword. This victory opened the Asura God Trial 263.

During the final trial, Lu Chen contacted the original super divine artifact directly and brought its slaughter power under control. The artifact merged with his martial soul and divine soul as he prepared to inherit the Asura and Destruction God King positions 381.

The Asura Demon Sword is generally depicted as a colossal blood-red sword, over two meters long, with a broad blade covered in dark-gold demonic marks. It constantly emits an oppressive, sharp Slaughter Aura 1 381.
