Sig was at a loss. He was badly injured, and Arlong clearly had no intention of "following Sig's orders."

But if Sig didn't say something soon, Arlong would go looking for Makoro without a care in the world...

"If you're determined to go find Makoro, wait for me... I have a letter for you." Sig said helplessly.

"What's a letter?" Arlong had clearly never heard the term.

"A letter... Forget it! Basically, it's a note. You can only open it once you've confirmed whether Makoro really is up to something!" Sig said sternly.

Back on shore, Sig used some paper and a pen he'd found on the ship. With Arlong's back turned, he laboriously wrote something, then handed him the letter.

Arlong agreed on the surface, but afterward he didn't explain to anyone else what he was going to do. He simply left Sig and Kuroobi behind, then took Hachi and Chuu and sailed away.

But in reality, not long after leaving Drum Island, Arlong opened the letter with a sneer, eager to see what kind of mystery Sig was trying to conjure up. The result...
