• Xiao Jinghong captured Song Jin Jian after he attacked Daoist Kongkong, and Chen Yi took custody of him and learned more about the emperor’s plans for the aristocratic families.

After winning Muhage’s trust and learning that the Barbarian Emperor would name his successor, Chen Yi accompanied Muhage to the Golden Tent as the succession struggle intensified.

• Chen Xuanji revealed the emperor’s Calligraphy Copybook and sent Mo Qingxiang to find hidden forces, while Chen Yi met Xiao Jinghong and set out to enter Barbarian territory disguised as Song Jin Jian.
• Chen Yunfan attacked Li Changqing after hearing that Chen Xuanji had been gravely wounded, then learned from Lin Zhong that his father was unharmed and possessed great-grandmaster-level cultivation.

• At the Golden Tent, Chen Yi recognized Meng Xingdu and traded insults with him as the Barbarian leaders gathered before Longge Sihuang.
• Muhage exposed Longge Louye as an impostor, and Longge Mowang seized power after Longge Beichen killed Bi Qi.
• Chen Yi helped Muhage and Erilisen escape, then killed Meng Xingdu and returned to the Black Bear Tribe as the rebellion spread.
