Chen Yi maneuvered against the Jizhou Trading Company and the forces surrounding Shuzhou while the Xiao family prepared for political pressure and a memorial monument. As Chen Zhitang arrived to meet Jia Xingzhi, Chen Yi sent painted figures to find them, and Chen Zhitang trapped one with his sword intent.

• Chen Yi sent Liu Lang against the Unorthodox Path practitioners, then began investigating the Jizhou Trading Company and its connections to the Cui and Zhao families.
• At Mengshui Pass, Li Wudang rescued Xiao Jinghong, killed the barbarian Tu Meng, and challenged Great Asa to meet him at the Eastern Sea in two years.
• Chen Yi had Zhao Yi kill Zhao Wenjing, then recruited Zhao Yi to help block Cui Qingwu’s monument plan and pursue other tasks.

Chen Yi manipulated the struggle around Jia Xingzhi while protecting his plans and strengthening his position in Shuzhou. The arc ended with Chu Xiudao entering the Land Immortal Realm as Chen Xuanji and Chen Zhitang arrived in Shuzhou.
