Background / History
Lu Shui was reborn with memories and knowledge from his previous life, in which he was known as the Father of Fortune. He concealed both this history and his unusual abilities from the Lu Family, fearing that disclosure would prevent him from leaving the family grounds or pursuing his plan to break off his engagement with Mu Xue 3 6.
In his new life, he secretly developed the Heaven and Earth Array Patterns and its associated Heaven and Earth Power. Although the power initially lacked killing force, he considered it sufficient for self-preservation and used it for formations, surveillance, divination, concealment, and preparation against stronger foes 11 16 25.
He was publicly regarded as an ordinary young master with limited prospects by the Mu Family, while privately displaying strength capable of frightening sect disciples, demonic cultivators, and senior experts 25 59 246. His hidden identity as Liu Huo, the Hidden Heaven Sect's young sect master, was gradually suspected by the Lu Family elders after he fought a Seventh Tier opponent 246.
Later, he adopted Dongfang Haoyue in high-level confrontations. Under that identity, he suppressed powerful opponents in the Stone Gate and eventually confronted Emperor Venerable, True God Ais, and the Buddha across the Time River 374 545.
Personality
Lu Shui is calm, calculating, and habitually dismissive toward threats he considers beneath him. He avoids needless conflicts when they do not serve his objectives, but responds decisively when others threaten his people, interfere with his plans, or underestimate him 14 18 59.
He values reciprocity and is willing to help sincere people, such as the boy who offered him a Spirit Stone Coin to save his family. Conversely, he reacts poorly to disrespect, ingratitude, and gossip directed at Mu Xue 14 25.
Despite his arrogance and frequent teasing, Lu Shui is attentive toward Mu Xue, his retainers, and his family. He protects Mu Xue's reputation, makes arrangements around her safety and feelings, and increasingly plans his actions around their future together 25 261 527.
