Chapter 21 Sasha Braus

"Hey, you brat!"

"Present!"

"Who are you, kid!"

"Armin Arlert, from Shiganshina District."

"Arnold, what are you doing here? The Training Corps doesn't welcome snot-nosed brats!"

"To help humanity achieve victory!"

"A fine answer, then prepare to become food for the Giants."

Shouts filled the training grounds as the instructor Keith gave the new recruits a baptism by intimidation. Even Armin Arlert, who was a bit weak in both height and personality, received his share of scolding.

The purpose of this baptism was to negate their past cowardly selves and cultivate talent suitable for becoming soldiers from a completely new state.

However, there were also those who already possessed the mental fortitude of a warrior. They wouldn't panic even when truly facing the fear of Giants, so they didn't need this meaningless mental pressure.

Lian Ye stood expressionlessly in the back row. He, Reiner Braun, and Bertholdt Hoover were among the taller individuals in the crowd, allowing them to calmly observe everyone in front of them and listen to Instructor Keith's lecture.

Sasha Braus, Potato Girl, calmly took out a still-warm potato from her chest and began eating it seriously while Keith was conducting the new recruit baptism.
