Background / History

Qin Jiuge is a transmigrator who inherited the body and memories of the original Qin Jiuge, a Qin Family prodigy of the Sky Profound Continent. Before his transmigration, he was a struggling author; the body he inhabits was born into the Qin Family, one of the Sky Profound Continent’s Four Great Immortal Imperial Clans. 1

He began cultivation at three and, by sixteen, had reached the peak of the Spirit Sea Realm. Before his rise, he held the Qin Family’s Second Sequence position and was eligible to compete for the Young Master position. 1 4

He refused to annul his engagement to Xiao Yan'er after she lost her talent, instead defending her at the Profound Heaven Sect. Soon after returning, he awakened the Chaos Body and entered the Dharma Aspect Realm. The Qin Family recognized him as its foremost hope, transferred main-line cultivation resources to him, and assigned Dark Guards for his protection. 12

Drawing on his knowledge of protagonist conventions, Qin Jiuge instructed Uncle Li to investigate ostracized clan members and suddenly rising talents with the surnames Ye, Xiao, and Lin. Qin Jiuge formally joined the Dragon Clan and used the backing of Long Tiankuo, its peak Immortal Realm Ancestor, to negotiate with visiting Immortal Realm powers. Heavenly Demon Ancient Battlefield

Seeking the resources necessary for an Immortal Realm breakthrough, Qin Jiuge infiltrated the Heavenly Demon Ancient Battlefield under false identities. He first posed as an Azure Sun Sword Sect disciple, then used White Bone Temple disciple Jiang Yanbai’s identity while targeting the White Bone Temple Master’s Immortal Realm advancement pill. 1404 1421

The Jiang Yanbai identity presented its own complications because the original disciple was infamous for greed, exploitation, and lechery. Qin Jiuge nonetheless treated the disguise as a temporary means of obtaining opportunities without implicating his true name. 1421

Alongside his cultivation pursuits, he faced further marriage negotiations. A Ghost Fox Clan Undying Realm Elder stated that the proposed princess’s marriage would carry no hierarchy of rank, invoking arrangements already discussed with the Dragon Clan Ancestor and claiming that Qin Jiuge’s earlier external ties had largely been severed. 1411

He later provided resources to the Heavenly Poison Great Emperor and Heavenly Yao Emperor after they invoked their family connections. Bai Feifei Pursuit

After Qin Jiuge overwhelmed Bai Feifei, she and Elder Di concluded that she needed at least Half-step Immortal strength to oppose him. Her escape nevertheless forced Qin Jiuge to turn from direct confrontation to an extensive search. 1469

Tian Yao Kui secured the Heaven-Earth Mystic Tortoise’s permission through an offer of Qin Jiuge’s promised cultivation resources. Qin Jiuge, Xu Lang, Li Xuanmiao, and White Bone Abbey disciples then excavated the area, with disciples paid according to their work. He acknowledged that the search was a last resort and that failure might require letting Bai Feifei go temporarily. 1469
