Chen Shouyi absorbed the divine tree’s power, then fought the Myriad Gods Society and other threats in Hedong while hiding his identity. The stretch ended with him attending a martial artist mixer, where he publicly defeated Qian Yadong and left the hotel with Zhao Qing.

• Chen Shouyi killed the barbarians surrounding the divine tree, absorbed its power, and saw its remaining Faith Power and divinity taken into the World Tree.
• Chen Shouyi tested his new Wind Control Ability, found a mysterious crystal on the island, and submitted his exploration report about the island’s gold deposit.
• After learning that barbarians had attacked villages near Mulou Town, Chen Shouyi returned to Hedong and suspected his crystal was a giant being’s fingertip bone.
• Bai Xiaoling warned Chen Shouyi that martial artists had gone missing, and he learned that the Myriad Gods Society was suspected of kidnapping and experimenting on them.
• Chen Shouyi evaded the Society’s trap and killed Lu Weifeng, Cao Zhenhua, Corite, and the Bald Man, while police rescued captives from the villa.
• Bai Xiaoling reported that the Society’s plot had been dealt with, and Chen Shouyi joined her in locating and beheading a barbarian in the city.
• Chen Shouyi continued teaching Song Tingting swordsmanship and met her at a martial artist mixer, where he rejected Qian Yadong’s challenge and kicked him into a buffet table.

Chen Shouyi protected Hedong City from giant spiders after the second mutation and joined an expedition through the haunted-house Space Channel. The group entered a dark cavern and prepared to face an approaching swarm of Giant Sickle Worms.

• Chen Shouyi brought his family home, met their neighbor Song Qiran, and recognized that the newly released Thirty-Six Body Tempering Forms resembled a routine in his Book of Knowledge.
• Chen Shouyi explored the Otherworld with Shell Girl, hunting beasts and finding a cave occupied by Gray Dwarves, while his family settled into life under growing wartime fears.
• After the second mutation cut power and sparked riots, Chen Shouyi obtained Cao Zhenhua’s 800-pound War Bow and a nanohardened-film sword from Miao Huilan.
• Chen Shouyi killed giant spiders attacking Hedong City, including a Silver Giant Spider that had damaged a Steam Tank, while Song Tingting moved away with Zhang Jingyi.
• Bai Xiaoling recruited Chen Shouyi for a dangerous mission to explore the Space Channel beneath the haunted house, and he joined Qin Liuyuan, Yu Hongyong, Xu Jie, and other martial artists.
• At the military briefing, Chen Shouyi said he had killed a Silver Scythe Worm and split the conference table with his sword to prove his strength.
• Chen Shouyi entered the Space Channel with Xiao Changming and Qin Liuyuan, killed several Giant Sickle Worms with arrows, and warned the group when he heard a swarm approaching.

Chen Shouyi survived a God War expedition, gained power from divine blood, and killed two servants of the God of Courage while preparing his family for relocation. The God of Courage then descended into the modern world, and Hedong City’s forces scrambled to defend the safe zone as the invasion began.

• Chen Shouyi led the expedition out of the Giant Sickle Worm nest, collected divine blood, and returned to Hedong City after helping the group escape through the Space Channel.
• Chen Shouyi refined his swordsmanship, arranged for Guan Miao to process divine blood, and drank it himself while Shell Girl consumed the remaining supply and emerged unharmed with improved abilities.
• Chen Xingyue killed a burglar defending her family, and Chen Shouyi later gave his parents and sister small amounts of divine blood before Bai Xiaoling delivered the deed and keys to Villa No. 24.
• Chen Shouyi fought the High Priest and Barber, killed the High Priest, and discovered that his sword aura of will could destroy the High Priest’s spirit.
• Chen Shouyi’s family moved into the safe zone, where he trained while the city prepared for war and Dabono’s Divine Kingdom was struck by a meteor.
• Chen Shouyi pushed his consciousness toward the cloud giant in Gray Mist Space, increased his Will, and heard artillery fire as the barbarian army emerged from a passage.
• Hedong City’s forces bombarded the advancing army, while Xiao Saiqi found Uncle Sirid gravely wounded and watched him die.
• Dabono descended into the modern world weakened, destroyed antiaircraft defenses and a Steam Tank, and advanced as Cheng'an District fell and Hedong City prepared its defenses.

Chen Shouyi helped defeat the Barbarian God’s forces, then discovered that the god’s curse had created a Memory Space where he could test himself against simulated opponents. After strengthening his abilities and witnessing new discipline imposed on martial artists, he fought Lei Ruiyang and Xiao Changming in the Memory Space and judged himself to have reached Martial Master's strength.

• Chen Shouyi learned that the invading barbarians were devastating Cheng'an District and discussed the threat of their god while studying ways to improve his archery.
• Chen Shouyi joined Hedong City's defenders and helped kill Dabono, the wounded Barbarian God, with an Armor-piercing Arrow.
• The Barbarian God's curse trapped Chen Shouyi in a nightmare, but the World Tree absorbed its dark aura and formed a Memory Space where he repeatedly confronted the god.
• Chen Shouyi joined the campaign at Yunshan Mountain, where the Barbarian King declared that the God of Courage had fallen and his forces were defeated by the soldiers and martial artists.
• Chen Shouyi returned to Hedong City, improved his attributes and abilities, and learned that Cui Ziwen had been executed after resisting arrest.
• Lei Ruiyang became director of the Martial Arts Notarization and Discipline Inspection Office and announced stricter discipline and closed military training for martial artists.
• Chen Shouyi fought Lei Ruiyang and Xiao Changming in the Memory Space, killed a Great Martial Artist who tried to ambush him, and concluded that he had reached Martial Master's strength.
