Their attempt to destroy the monsters at Qinggang City’s port ended with Chen Shouyi driving the creatures into retreat while Luo Jingwen collapsed from exhaustion.

• Chen Shouyi attacked the River God’s tribe to rescue captured warriors, but found them dead and escaped the god’s storm after a Giant Beast was destroyed.
• Chen Shouyi explored a cavern of dead Four-armed Giants and concluded that a god had wiped out their tribe for killing its avatar.
• Chen Shouyi entered a fog-bound village, freed trapped soldiers and martial artists from a mysterious influence, then hunted down and killed Diluoluo.
• Chen Shouyi accepted Luo Jingwen’s offer of Primordial Divine Marrow and traveled with Luo Jingwen and Zhu Xueqing to investigate Donghai Province.
• The three found Qujiang City under the influence of the God of Order’s church, then went to Qinggang City to investigate a missing nuclear submarine and its warheads.
• Chen Shouyi and his companions scouted the naval port, discovered Sea Monsters searching for the submarine, and decided to attack them.

Chen Shouyi and Luo Jingwen escaped Qujiang City after Chen killed the demigod Saye, then Chen returned home and traveled to the capital to receive recognition and claim rewards. After earning national Martial Master certification and choosing divine marrow with his merit points, Chen demonstrated his refined swordsmanship to Luo Jingwen and Zhu Xueqing.

• Chen Shouyi and Luo Jingwen escorted Zhu Xueqing toward the border, then returned to locked-down Qujiang City and infiltrated a church, where they learned the cult had staged her capture.
• Chen Shouyi entered a realistic memory of the church, confronted Saye, and was killed by her in the virtual world before waking and reflecting on her strength.
• As Great Xia’s air force attacked Qujiang City, Chen Shouyi and Luo Jingwen ambushed the wounded Saye and killed her after restraining her.
• Chen Shouyi and Luo Jingwen reached Nanshan City, reported Saye’s death, and returned to Chen’s home, where Chen discovered he could spend Faith Value to borrow the Book of Knowledge’s abilities.
• Chen Shouyi tested his heightened state, reunited with Qin Liuyuan, and was summoned to the capital to receive a reward for killing Saye.
• In the capital, Chen Shouyi passed national Martial Master certification despite poor archery scores, then received a medal and fifty merit points at the Great Hall of the People.
• Chen Shouyi exchanged merit points for three vials of divine marrow and asked the employee to find exceptionally stretchy underwear.

Chen Shouyi fought barbarians in Dongxing and returned to Hedong when the God of Hunting invaded. He reunited his family and relatives in an air-raid shelter as the city fell under attack and the god demanded worship.

• Chen Shouyi returned to Hedong, reunited with his family, and received provincial rewards before an attacker killed hundreds at government buildings.
• Chen Shouyi killed the barbarian assassin sent by the God of Hunting, then learned that barbarians were attacking the Dongning war zone.
• Chen Shouyi went to Dongxing with Zhang Miaomiao and fought repeated barbarian attacks, killing a giant lord and developing stronger control over the air.
• When Zhang Miaomiao reported that the God of Hunting had appeared in Hedong, Chen Shouyi ran back through the devastated safety zone to find his family in a shelter.
• Chen Shouyi told his family that Hedong might have fallen, then went outside and saw the God of Hunting proclaim himself the world’s sole true god as residents knelt in the snow.
• Chen Shouyi found Qin Shufen and Chen Yuwei in an underground parking lot and brought them to the shelter, where he told everyone to stay while barbarians fought in the city.
