The Charadon Sector, an Imperial Hive City on an Agricultural World.

It had long since been overrun by Orks. The temples that had once symbolized the Imperium of Man, and the spires that had proclaimed the nobles' status, had all been torn apart. Across the deserts and plains, they had become a patchwork of crude, savage-looking tribal settlements.

Thick spores and poisonous mists drifted through the atmosphere.

The Gargoyles from the churches, the wreckage of Leman Russ tanks, even the spires of the old Hive City—all had been toppled by these savage Orks,

then rebuilt into creations more suited to their tastes. Discarded engine oil ran through the drainage channels and poured into their strange contraptions. With machinery roaring, they belched clouds of black smoke into the sky.

Shops built by Mekboyz crowded both sides of the streets. Their signs, made from twisted chains, were smeared with greasy grime, and they advertised all manner of guns cobbled together from spare parts.

Closer to the center of the Hive City, green-skinned monsters were everywhere, snarling and roaring as they brutally brawled with anything they could get their hands on, from rocks and wooden stakes to iron bars.

At the highest point of the entire scrap city, the palace that had once belonged to the planetary governor had been transformed into the Warboss's fortress.

The palace's outer walls were studded with trophies.

There were tusks, bones, Chainswords, Power Armor, and even the heads of Imperial governors—more trophies than anyone could count. At the entrance was a gigantic steel maw, with several fearsome Squigs chained to its fangs as an alarm system.

At the center of the hall stood the Warboss's throne: a dismantled Leman Russ chassis, fitted with Chainswords looted from Knight Mechs for armrests. The base of the throne
